No, won't start at all, no screen, no nothing. Spent hours trying to get the mem to work. Maybe because it's 1.35v, who knows.

One of my GPUs is way too hot. I'm going to check that out later.

    Thanks for your help!

Try booting the 2133mhz with a slower partner stick. GPU 2 tends to work harder and be hotter, I put my better quality card in that slot to help even out the temps.

Those are some nice clocks :) You can spend some time playing with the ram in software to see what it's happy running at.

Gotcha. Typically hard to do any real damage on air cooling. Either it will run or it won't. With extreme cooling, you can have some performance degradation when pushing 1.7-1.9v, and have to drop your clocks slightly like after 20 vantage cpu runs.

Yeah 11 is mostly a CPU benchmark at that point, how do you fare with 3dmark firestrike and firestrike extreme?

11 has some cpu GT's, but it's mostly GPU. I'm not sure what you mean "at that point". I'm just getting back into benching after a 2.5 year layoff, so I have no idea what firestrike entails. Gotta buy it and run it soon.

just imagine what broadwell or skylake E will be like inside this machine. 14nm will run so much cooler giving an edge in OC lol.. dreams go on and on yeahhhh

oh btw, corsair made 2133mhz 2x8gb module at cas 11!

No doubt they'll provide much better performance, but I bet the OC headroom will be less. But doesn't matter, they'll still beat the pants off any current chip.

    Excellent job! Well done Meaker.

Your 11 score wouldn't improve much @ 45x. It was your GPU that got you there. I can only do 1115/3000, maybe with some cold they'll do better.

I just got firestrike loaded today, and I'm slightly over 6k. That's a fun quick bench!

Try running with approved drivers to get a valid futuremark result.

got maybe 2 years to go, good chance better ddr3 memory will get released although I dont see any point of any company making ram having speed higher than 2133 at 8gb stick. corsair maybe one of the few.. no competition makes me sad =(

lol desktop ram are huge just maybe it'll fit, that way we can go 64gb? or do we need 8 ram slots?

edit: and btw, sata express early review came out on Tweaktown, http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/5...early-tech-and-performance-preview/index.html. performance wise isn't all that impressive especially its going to need new connector for laptop. not to mention that intel's chipset raid performance won't change much theres no hope getting over 2GB/s speed..

article talks about good stuff and best way to run these fast SSD is to run it on pcie 3.0 lane. hopefully x99 will fix that with 40 lanes

2GB/sec is a bit silly at this point though, it should mostly be small file speeds we focus on at the moment anyway.

its the game level loading speed man, also the boot time lol. imo 4k random read/writes are over rated they are important but sequentials are too of course dependent on what type of program being used.

Steady state performance, especially read/write mix is important, not the FOB performance advertised. The bulk of a desktop workload is 4K random 70/30 read/write. [H]ardocp had this metric nailed for their SSD reviews. Unfortunately, they are in limbo without a reviewer. When you start mutitasking, desktop plus gaming, browsing, torrents, dowloading, VMs... etc the queue depth (QD) will rise. The SSDs that scale well through QDs 1-6 are the really quick "snappy" responsive" drives. M500 (480GB up), Extreme II, M5Pro Xtreme all shine above a QD of 1. Samsung does everything well except this, unfortunately.

TweakTown is changing their reviewing method to include steady state performance, as I understand it. This will give consumers a better idea how a SSD might actually perform.

actually, your queue depth does not go over at most 3, but you'll find out more about it to actual queue depth meaning... going over QDepth of 4 consistently is unrealistically difficult, even 3 is tough unless running a server or vmware. besides, desktop workload isnt all about 4k random, there are lots of sequential as well. 4k random read/write is over rated when I can just use ram to cache for software, browsers and every other little thing? SSD completely loses its purpose here.

example, my firefox browser profile has tabs at 300 saved when opening up on my raided array it takes roughly 14 sec but in ramdisk ony takes 9.

Definitely not all 4K but mostly and yes, not all random. File sizes range from 512B to 1MB

Yes, SSDs are too fast to let the QD rise. Even if it goes up in the 4-6 range it won't be there long at all. Latency is a factor here too. Every time I see a review with QD32, I think, useless info for a client. But mutitasking, prosumers, heavy workloads that can stack requests can keep the QD hitting a little higher, although briefly The SSDs that do this well are the ones I would consider highly.

You have me beat by about 200 tabs :D

Firestrike extreme is 1080p so it's your ram clock (1519mhz vs 1750mhz) holding you back. It's mostly your cpu clock advantage giving you the win.

What gpu voltage are you running at to hit 1.2ghz?

Actually I am currently using a prema bios (<3 prema) and am using svet's tool to modify my original vbios so while svl7 does a great deal to help people out I am running with alternative mods atm.

I have given my support to those who have helped me and they are aware of my thanks.

Well, i just bricked my P570WM.First i flashed prema bios v3 and went well but the vga (gtx 680m) was at 75ºc and not was down from there without doing anything.

Then i try to revert back to prema bios v2 and betwen steps i press f7 and the system beep all the time, in step 3 when it was at 50% flashing the main block it shutdown...and thats all.

The system don't boot and even the display show nothing, only the hdd led blink and then half a minute later shutdown.

    There is a solution or i wasted 2000 € in 6 months :( ?
