I think my N950TD either has bad thermal paste or a bad fitting. I keep getting idle temps of 50-60c with fans on 35% in Silent-Mode and 60-70c idle temps in Entertainment/Performance-Mode. I also consistently hit 90c-100c practically no matter what game I play (fans 100%).

I don't think I want to use Kryonaut since I just want something stable and longlasting.
What paste do you guys recommend?

Also is this normal? It feels like the laptop goes all-in no matter what program it's running.
Like opening Spotify will spike the temps with like 20degrees and practically all applications do that, except VLC.
Twitch will consistently keep the laptop at 70c+ (80% fans)

Might want to check for dust and paste patterns along with thermal pads.

It's not dust as far as I can see.
Is there a specific thermal paste or pad you can recommend? Like is there something I should keep an eye out for, like pastes that becomes too much like superglue.

Kryonaught should be fine, pads are reusable bit worth inspecting.

Hi, today unfortunatelly I entered 3 times wrong password (=bios password) at startup. After that I pushed the start-button some seconds to shut down and then pushed it again and my notebook started (after I entered the correct password).
Since that, unfortunatelly my 2nd screen (which is plugged in via mini displayport) won´t show anything, while my 1st screen (which is plugged in via hdmi port) workes fine.
2nd screen works and also the cable is ok.
Might this 3-times-entering-wrong-password have a negative influence on the function of the mini displayport?
    Thanks
    Best regards, Gebbi

    Hallo again,
so after some tests I also replaced the hdmi cable - and the new one worked :)
I found out that the former cable has a loose contact ... so when you pull it in a certain direction it also works.
Very strange that the cable failed at the same time when I entered the password 3 times wrong.
    Best regards, Gebbi

I need a little help with Clevo N957TP6. One of my Display Port is not working. There are 2 in my laptop

    1. Mini Display Port 1.3 (using NVIDIA graphics). It's working

    2. Mini Display Port 1.2 (using Intel HD Graphics). Not working

Both Graphics drivers are up-to-date and working.

Note: I am using HDMI to mini Display port convertor. One monitor is using HDMI port, second is using nvidia display port using the adapter. I want to buy a 3rd monitor, but want to resolve this issue before ordering it. Does buying a monitor which natively supports mini display port will solve the issue? How do I check to be sure since the monitor store here doesn't have return policy.

Test it on a friend or store display model.

So I figure out the issue.

The Display Port connected to Intel HD Graphics doesn't support HDMI to mini DP adapters. You need to have a monitor which natively supports Display Port for it to work.

The displayport on intel hd, works ONLY conected to a displayport monitor,so no adapters or so,to dp to hdmi is not working.

Your reseller should offer a set or google n950tp6 drivers and you should come up with some sites out there, we never sold the model so don't have it on ours.

Has anyone tried installing newer version of the Clevo Control Centre to test if it works? I was wondering if it is going to be stable, even though it is not listed as supported.

    I have come here with a similar issue. I was using "4 - C_Center_181212.zip" from 2018.

Since upgrading to Windows 11, it has stopped working. It freezes when I try to open it. I am wondering if anybody knows of a version compatible with N957TP6 and Windows 11?

It's perhaps a model best sticking to windows 10 for now.

Yeah. Unfortunately a bit too late for me. Other than the Clevo Center, everything works smoothly so far.

I tried Obsidian Fan control which also seemed to work. They also have some other clevo replacement applications. I don't know remember where I saved them in my computer (they are not available on their website either anymore for some reason) :/

You can go back to windows 10 if you have not deleted the windows.old folder.
