ok so far with your temps what do you guys think of it. (temp wise........)

compared to the w90, m17x, whitebook, and i'll do the np9262

the gpu's, cpu, hdd. so far.

i know the cpu haven't been pushed in vantage yet so after this run we can see how hot it will get.

Is that the latest flashed BIOS/firmware for the 280M GPUs? If so, I'm guessing you have to flash them one at a time like take one out flash it, put the other one in and take the other one out then flash the 2nd card. I haven't flashed BIOS's/firmware on GPUs so just curious.

Is this your way of window shopping? lol!

He needs to test temps with OCCT. Pound the GPUs for 20 minutes.

Lol. no i'm just seeing what each manchine has to offer as terms as performance, cooling, stablility, bios features, etc.

i think i have my mind set on what manchine to get. just not to sure yet.

i know how the gpu's will do since i had the same cooling,, but he has a smaller die, so it might be lower.
    GPU occt: 9800m gtx
for me occt hit 93 and then downclocked to 80 and just repeated. but it took 9mins to hit 90 which i think is good. (the 9800m gtx crital was set to 90 in the bios so i didn't touch that.)

as for other apps and games, i haven't seen the gpu break 74 and that was in hot conditions. in cooler room temp i haven't passed 64-68.
    CPU: [email protected] 65w cpu
as for as cpu. i had a e8600. occt also hit the tdp for mines which was quite low.(it was 73. it was also in the intel cpu sheet.)

but no other apps has been able to break 68 no matter how hard i tried.

all of this is stocked, overvolted and overclocked will do different results.

    what are your results?

can you provide a screen shot of cpu-z with that. with that score it seems your cpu is clocked at 2.8ghz MIN. i would say 2.93 but i'm still not sure about overclocking on this.

Nice, you should be in the 11.5k-11.7k range giving the GPUs some gas.

My 12002 run was done at 690|1065|1725.

When you find the right CPU and GPU OC things start to run like butter. He'll probably have to experiment a bit.

ok nice. it seems the m17x has nice cooling. i think the w90 has better cpu cooling though. but not gpu cooling.

and the gpu for only hiting 81 for 20 is great!!!

yeah i see what you mean then. i'm glad you got it.

so your first impressions with the keyboard and the lights except for the keyboard etc. how is it.

do you mind if you can take a picture of it. there were two keyboards out for it. i want to see which one you got. and do a little compare with your m17 and it.
