bsod= Blue Screen Of Death. Reference to when Windows 95 (and others) would crash to a blue screen with text that made no sense on telling you why it crashed.

The ThinkPad giveaway is still happening ... so if you registered you still have a chance to win regardless of the fact that the "live" webcast didn't happen as planned. -
I wouldn't mind getting that ThinkPad, even though I don't live in the US...if somehow that would be possible.

Thanks guys -
While I've been working away with the event window open in the background, I'm starting to feel awfully silly.
I am in the market for a laptop so I won't be tethered to my desktop and have been leaning toward a HP (9500t or 6500t CTO). I still have a Thinkpad 560 tucked away in a drawer somewhere - it was a GREAT computer so I was super interested in seeing this presentation. (Any reco's? Want to be able to hang with my 3yo as opposed to being stuck in my office. Primarily basic office stuff but will want to travel and do photo/video editing while on the road.)
Please let us know when it will be rescheduled or posted (or better yet if I win so I don't have to stress any further about which laptop/configuration/$$$). -
Thanks for watching :]

The medieval style musak, all horns and trumpets, drove me to the brink of insanity before I finally plugged the plug after 30 mins of waiting.
Next time when I wanna see some (potential) death and destruction, albeit of a lappy, I'm just gonna go to Blockbuster. -
I am getting video and audio sync issues, anyone else experiencing this problem?
-
I wish they talked a little bit about the innovation of the X series. The video seemed to focus on the T and R series.

I actually wish that Lenovo would produce more titanium editions. I wouldn't mind having a titanium T60, or a titanium X60 ;O

I liked the way they were so ambiguous on the quad core thinkpad and the 17'' screen thinkpad. But they also mentioned something about being able to use a thinkpad anywhere, i.e. in any light conditions, so maybe they will include backlit led screens in the next generation of thinkpads.

was this broadcast archived? i'd like to see it, but i missed out on it...looks like i saved time by not waiting.
