Still nothing. I got two e-mails during the entire period. One indicating that I was enrolled and then other stating I needed to complete the survey which I did. Nothing since. I see everyone else getting e-mail confirmations to theirs will be coming in 4 - 6 weeks.
Anyone else still waiting?

You could try sending an email as mark84 suggested, however they are getting so many right now, they might not get it for awhile.
I had to give them my new address when I got the confirmation email last week (I moved 3 weeks ago) and still haven't heard back yet.
Hope you get yours straightened out Rockchok. -
Received my confirmation of product coming just a week ago, good luck to the rest of you and I"ll check back and tell you how it goes.
-
Got my product shipping confirmation on the 12th. I initially had problems with installing the software, but I just went through their guides and opened up the right ports.
-
Being that it has yet to ship, I wonder what the odds are that we will get SP1 disks?
-
mmm... probably slim. i dont think that it will happen. not like its that hard to download / install SP1 anyway...
-
Well considering the retail version of vista with sp1 is already available, I would think that it's likely.
-
Just wondering, does anyone know if you get a shipping notice once it's in the mail?
I still haven't heard from them after sending my address change two weeks ago. -
nope, me either.
but id assume we have another 2-4 weeks left before they are actualy shipping our copy's out as they stated it'd be 4-6 weeks for shipping (assuming they meant to ship not total time) -
I guess it depends on how long these copies have been around. I'm not too concerned since I can get vista with sp1 preinstalled. I just want it for the product key.
-
same here, ive already got a vista dvd from my girlfriends laptop that ive used to install a 30 day trial of ultimate on my laptop (so much for patients). Just need that key !

Just got an email from Microsoft. In short it says:
This message is to notify you that we are ready to ship your product. Please allow until end of April for delivery. You will receive another email from us when shipments have gone out.
We have received many product selection changes and mailing address corrections from program participants and have implemented all of those changes. Please verify that the below information is correct and notify us if you need us to make another change prior to shipping. At this point in time, we can only take address changes, which you can email us to [removed].
Please submit address corrections to us no later than Wednesday April 2nd, 2008.
Shipments will be going out with USPS. In case you have moved and did not get to send your new mailing address to us before April 2nd, 2008, please ensure you have a mail forwarding request on file with USPS so that your package gets delivered to your new address. -
Same thing I got. Looking forward to getting the package.
-
A co-worker got his Vista disk about a week ago. So for I'm still waiting. Anyone else receive their's? He was "pretty sure" he got an email saying it had been shipped.
-
I got the email 3 posts back saying it is ready to ship, but no follow up. Remember it says to wait until end of April.
-
-
So you guys actually went for it?
So you left a dead computer logged on to the internet or what? -

Just got this email today
Thank you for participating in the Windows Feedback Program!
Today we just wanted to send you a quick notification that your free product has been shipped.
Please allow a few days for arrival. If you have not received your free product by May 2nd, 2008, please send an email to this address indicating "product not arrived" in the subject line.
Again, thank you VERY MUCH for your participation. If you'd like to stay in our program for a while longer, we'd be thrilled. We frequently create new research activities for the Windows Feedback Program and would love to be able to invite you to these.
Many greetings!

Just got that email as well, am very glad to hear something from them!
wont believe its true till i get it in my grubby hands. -
I also received an email saying it was shipped and I should get it by May 2nd. They also asked if I wanted to continue in the program. I have no problem with that but it needs to be something tangible not some sweepstakes drawing.
-
Got mine too. Not a moment too soon. Vista started bothering me to register soon.
-
I just came here to say I got that email, but I was beaten to it! Sooo... I got that email also. Can't wait to get it. -
I just checked my mailbox today and noticed that my copy of Office Ultimate 2007 had arrived. It had an interesting note for those who chose Windows Vista Ultimate regarding a installation instructions on a Getting Started website that was scheduled to go live on April 24, 2008. This could explain why the shipment was delayed until April 24.?.?.?
-
What are the instructions exactly?

Recieved my Vista Ultimate disks today, I am interested in the license, there is a 32bit disk and a 64 bit disk and each have their own Product Key. Anyone know where to read the license? I guess I will just have to boot one up.
-

-
Just got my discs today. Well, yesterday, cause it's after midnight here now.
I just wanted to say thanks to NBR and Kevin for the headsup on the windows feedback program back in december.
My discs are terribly imbalanced though, they can hardly be read in my optical drive. I'll have to contact microsoft and get replacement discs. -
-
If you look at the sticker on the back of each paper sleave, under the product key it says "Proof of license. See license terms".
I'm no lawyer so I couldn't possibly understand it, but the license is located at X:\sources\license.... with 2 folders.... if anyone wants to have a read. -
-
to bad this is us only i would do it but i would use it on my school only laptop since i dont care they see i typ bs about marketing and projects i would never run this kind of stuff on my every day computer though they already know enough( to much) of me
-
i don't think you're able to use both 32 and 64 bit keys, becuase on one of the papers, (i got em too ) it said you can only use one, but i'm not sure because they did send you two keys? can anyone else provide some insight on this?
-
I ordered my replacement disks from Microsoft today. The CSR I spoke with never even heard of the windows feedback program. But thankfully it went through ok.
-
no integrated SP1
-
-
Just reply to one of the WFP emails that were sent to you, explain the situation to them and they should be able to help you out from there.
-
weird but that vista 64-bit DVD I installed reports CPU type as AMD64 whereas I konw for sure I have Intel's T7500, at least that what CPU-Z displayed when I had 32-bit Vista.
And what is even more strange 32-bit programs were installed under C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory.
Do you guys have also AMD64 reported ?
Are you sure we got the same Vista 64-bit that is offered in retail ?
Does not look so. -
You're wrong that you won't get anything for participating in the Feedback Program. I signed up for it and got my FREE Microsoft Office Pro 2007. It took about a month, but I still got it. I was so thrilled when that package showed up in my mailbox. It's installed on my laptop now, and I'm enjoying my free software!
