Add my laptops in lol

So the debate is when you say "largest" are you counting pixels are raw size.
My argument is there is no fair way to count physical size with projectors its as big as you want it to be. So the only real fair way is to count pixels.
When it comes to multi-monitor setups my 3x monitors are one single virtual monitor with a resolution of 6040x1200 my wallpaper is actually that size and when I play games thats the resolution I play them in. Just because it's displayed on multiple screens its still one "display".
If you look deep into the tech behind most display devices all of them are broken down into segments at some point be it little mirrors on DLP or each pixel on a LCD. So having my display in 3 main segments really does not matter when the computer is rendering a full 6040x1200.
That ultra wide monitor that cost like $6000 for home cinema is actually 3 panels internally and runs as one virtual monitor, just no bezels to show it but you can notice it up close.

Okay,I dont have the largest display (i do have a 55" LCD tv but 108p doesn't count). But I do have the largest resolution for a single monitor.
30" Cinema Display connected to either my macbook or Thinkpad (running Linux)
2560 x1600
My new macbook pro (2012 Ivy B) will probably power 2 of those monitors. -

I almost went for 30's but to game at native resolution is very hard so I went with 24's
In retrospect glad I did because 3x24" is much wider than I imagined with 30's I wouldn't be able to see the side monitors very easily. -
I have two Dell IPS 24" each running 1920x1080 at home that I connect to my macbook.
When I go to work, I connect a 30" (2560x1600) along with a 20" (16080x1050), I can do a whole lot more work. I actually have to come into work on the weekends because it is that big of a difference in terms of productivity.
Companies need to step up the res. I sometimes have to resort using my iPad 3 as a secondary monitor (using wifi air-display) so I can get some useable workspace .
See:
and the useable desktop space from my iPad 3:
I'm all about resolution and not physical screen size. -

Its not only about resolution either. It is the combination of the 2. Doesnt do you any good to have ultra high resolution if you are just scaling everything up to fill those pixels.
For intance I have used the following 3 phones. iphone 4s, evo 3d, galaxy s2. The evo 3d was the most useful phone. The iPhone 4 was too small and my fingers just dont let me do as much on it and I dont have large fingers. The galaxy s2 had a larger display but it was lower resolution so I could not see as much on web pages and such.
The main reason that high resolution is not taking off is that all computer makers are ripping people off for large high res displays. Take the ACD 27 inch. It runs $999 yet korean companies can make essentially the same display for $300. It becomes clear just like the US auto industry that American tech companies are using this as an extreme upselling technique and until they come down to reality the mass consumer is not going to pay for it, especially on laptops where displays are thrown out with their laptop every couple years. -
55 inches
...but I have played XBox on a friend's garage door before. -
40'' cheapo led tv from target -
For what it's worth, my 23" desktop screen has more pixels than my 55" TV. Before that, I had a 40" 720p TV. And besides the physical size, the extra pixels don't really do anything for me in terms of gaming and watching movies/TV.

Nope
1920x1200 = 2304000
2048x1152 = 2359296 -
32" @ 1920x1080 is just perfect for my desk.
Does it's job for both work and entertainment -
Dual monitors are great for productivity, you can split your arrangement of windows.

70" Sharp TV and 22" monitor both hooked up to my desktop:
-
On our production machine at work it is hooked up to a 4k Barco Digital Cinema projector and projected onto a 15m wide cinema screen. In terms of sheer bigness, do I win?

I like how every bump to this thread one-ups the most recent posts, or perhaps more than one-ups. Akimitsui bumps with a giant 70" TV (which does look like a pretty sweet setup), then glewarne does with a monster 15 meter cinema screen. My flatmate has a 55" TV connected to his desktop which I thought was pretty good, but can't meet a 15 meter projector and win.

I'm running a Lenovo notebook in a Samsung 26" HDTV (on left) and I'm running the other Samsung Ultra notebook in a 60" 3D Samsung HDTV...
That was last year... now I have a 70" Sony HDTV 3D, running Lenovo Y410P into it.
Pictures coming soon...

In my old house I had a dedicated home theater room. 160" screen with High def projection. SO. The computer ran really good on that. My current home, while two times the size of my old house, Has a more open basement with bar, recreation area, media area, full kitchen, storage rooms, my music/guitar room and a spare bedroom/exercise room, I do not have the projector hooked up. I may sell it. My new monitors are 23" dell touchscreens in my office and my wifes craft room. We can move our notebooks back and forth and have touch capability everywhere. I am putting one down in my music room too for recording/production. Touchscreen is so awesome for that....I can connect my amplifier to my computer and tweak the amp settings etc to get that perfect sound.

Dell has a 43" monitor, but I heard the screen is crap
-
I dunno....that looks awesome to have...but I have no room on the desk for that. I think I'm going with the Dell Canvas for my new monitor. I really want/need the graphics inputs that provides.
Who here has the LARGEST DISPLAY for their computer rig? Go BIG or go home! ;)
