I have 3x U2410's...which I had in NVSurround till I realized that I was just sucking down power while not really using all of the space (I can only see so much!).

Asus VG236H 23" 120Hz with 3D emitter/glasses, for use with my G74.
I don't use the 3D though - my little 560m just isn't up to that at 1920x1080.
I WANT a 37" to hang on the wall for gaming, one day.
-
I run an HDMI cable under my area rug and tuck it under my coffee table so I can hook up to my 55" Samsung 3D LED TV for gaming. It's been fun playing Diablo 3 beta while lounging on the couch and being able to play 99% of the game with just a multi-button mouse
. Otherwise, I have a spare HDMI cord ran on my computer desk to my desktop's 25" regular LCD 60Hz monitor.

12'x18' running on 2 4k projectors, but that took some bribery...
-
I see a lot of people saying but not showing....
-
ok I couldn't find the picture of the 12'x18', but here is a 8'x10' with wow on it I was using for a while...

I find it funny that most of these posts don't provide pictures with the claimed monitor
-
Yeah thats what I was saying, anyone can so "I got a..."
Also if you have these great monitors why would you not have a great camera to take pictures of them? The last few were awful. Some I would even question to be any good for the job. I certainly wouldn't use them if they look like that in real life. -
my picture is from 2 years ago, all I had was my iphone to take the picture... and I still don't own a "great" camera... I wouldn't assume just because someone spent the money on a nice setup they would have a "great" camera to take a picture... What camera would you say would work good in a dark room with 2 4k projectors working, I don't know anything about cameras...
It was good enough to play wow and watch movies on... If it looks like crap in the picture sorry, it looked better in real life... btw where is your "great" picture... -
Every once in awhile I hook up hdmi to my familys 60 inch lcd tv so that's my claim.

Largest I've had is while I was temporarily out of monitors, I had my desktop hooked up the family 62" DLP, its not 1080p so it wasn't the most enjoyable experience.
My setup at school is a 28" Hannspree, great picture. Don't know that I would go below 24" for a single display for some of the work I do. -
I know a guy who hooked up my laptop to movie theater projector, so I think I win lol.
-
ok I know a guy who knew a guy from college who was in the navy with a girl who dated her sister that hooked it a desktop to a imax screen... oh wait that is how they get the image already...
did you use it for more than once? I was thinking something that you used for more than 2 weeks... -
Yeah. I mean it wasn't constant usage, but I paid to leave the theater unoccupied so I could play computer and my old PS2. It was a while ago, I don't exactly remember what I played, I think I played like SSX 3, star wars battlefront. Yeah that kind of stuff. I think with the laptop we played civilization and a few other games, but it was really cool.
-
That doesn't really count, you don't own the movie theater it was being shown on... I actually own a 8'x10' and a 12'x16' screen and 2 4k projectors that I used for about 3 months daily until I moved and been to lazy to pull them out of storage...
-
I think this thread is dying.
This is ludicrous now. No pics no count in my opinion. -
I think we need the reverse of this thread, just to see what lengths people will go to say they use the smallest screen on their computer.
The day I see someone hook a PC up to a calculator, then I'll be impressed. Screw all this HD rubbish. -
Just got my 24in WUXGA LCD back so Im back in the big leagues....oh wait yall are running more then twice that.
-
Sometimes I bring my tower to my movie room. When I arena (wow) on it with the 10,000 watt system I kind of get scared lol. That's my buddy posing he's 6'5" 290

^ I think he wins....

Na I am sure the projector is smaller than most of our screens
Making the images bigger is not making the display bigger, put your nose up against your laptop screen.
Tada! You just made the image bigger in the same fashion as a projector but in reverse.
This is why I think pixel count > size if we want to do some kind of comparison as size has no relevance or measurement point but pixels are clearly defined and equal across all types of display.
If you wan to be epic get a projector beyond 1080P by using a 30" 2650x1600 panel and crafting a DIY projector box. -
Lol and Vicious slams with the book of technicalities!
That's true though, can't argue about the fact that pixels are the only constant in this test. -
Lol he speaks the truth! At least he can't duplicate my Lamborghini with a lesser car
-
mine is using 2-4k projectors the resolution is 4096 x 2160. It is just the crappy 3mp camera I used to take the picture...

Thats nice, but if its a cinema room I cant see the purpose. The highest digital format for cinema is 1920x1080 via blu-ray thus having a higher resolution does not net you any increase in quality much the same playing a old pc game with a limited resolution on a new age high resolution display does not net you any new quality.
4K projectors are much more useful for commercial use (flight simulator, medical, etc) or as ultra high end enthusiast displays for PC in where the PC can render content at beyond 1080P. -
I understand I was just saying what I am using since the topic went from size of the screen to pixel count...
I just have to ask, where would you use a 4k projector in the medical field? -

That's me , You see? -

Not in your normal like hospital and stuff but in labs and stuff they have use for things like that. I have dealt with medical supply distribution guys before and they sell some pretty high end stuff. -
5760x1080 here. 3 23" monitors for eyefinity. /drool
-
3x 24". Makes Skyrim sexy
-
Go home.

^^^ I think we're counting by pixels, and not inches
-
I have a Casio XJ-A130 LED/LASER projector with HDMI... Shall post evidence later on
One of These:
-
I have an HDX9000 it has a 20 inch display, the actual laptop display, I hook it up to various external monitors from a 22" at work, to a 24 inch CRT (biggest by weight) and a 27 inch crossover LCD 2556x1440 big by resolution and sometimes I use it as a blu ray player on my 54 inch plamsa TV big by inches. Pretty big from multiple directions. But I cant roll those all into 1 or beat the 30 inch dells.
-
Oh man, I remember when the HDX9000 came out back in 2007... over 4k for that back-breaking monster! haha
Cool you still have one that works!! -
Ya but unfortunately I will be replacing it in less than 2 months. Unfortunately there is no worthy successor.
-
Haha just get a TI-Nspire CX CAS with a color [probably 3 inch] screen. Connect your 4-way SLI setup to that bad boy and game away!
-
I think those people with the logitech G15? keyboards probably count for smallest.

I'm confused now. The guy with the cinema did not win?
and he uses also higher resolution than anyone else here.
C'mon guys, he won. Cinema + beyond 1080p projector = win
3 screens can't top that
-
So decided to upload my display when I decide to watch movies
Not giant, but hey it's big enough, 44" via. my 15.6" XPS M1530~HDMI.
-
Yeah but he's yet to prove that and he seems to be getting overly defensive when questioned.
-
Problem is, the title of this thread says, "LARGEST DISPLAY" which is singular, not plural. Therefore, anyone that submitted their entry with multiple displays are automatically disqualified, and I win, since I rock a single 27" IPS on my l337 gaming laptop.
-
Based on that logic, you lose. Many people here have posted TVs, which are displays (and they're bigger than your 27" ).
And I'm sure there's someone here rocking a U3011s haha
Also nowhere in the rules does it say that submitting multiple displays disqualifies you.

Meh. It's a grey area.
You can only have one display. That's what the title of the thread says. Those that are posting who have multi-display setups (Eyefinity for example) are automatically disqualified!
-
By saying "who has the largest display?", you aren't ruling out multi monitor setups. It's simply implying that three small monitors don't count as one big one.
Think about it, if someone had a giant 50 inch TV hooked up and a tiny 7 inch monitor for looking at PC status, it wouldn't make sense to rule them out. Saying "I have a multi monitor setup, of which one or more of them is an absolute beast, look at it!", would be completely valid. -
-
Exactly! ^_^

Who here has the LARGEST DISPLAY for their computer rig? Go BIG or go home! ;)
