lol nice man, is your company a one man team? those looks like SWAN speaker, and nice xps, gotta love that RGB backlit 1080p. my 23" monitor coming this friday YEA YEA YEA

and....dam who is still using those model M IBM kb. they look like you've warped back to when computers were invented. srsly use a normal kb or pick up a DAS kb which apparently, from what im told, is a really good kb. just a question...why do ppl still use the model Ms? is it like indestructible and has some neat feature like the perfect button despression?

    @fattail, NICE LUBE MAN!!!

how much and where did you get em. im only a sophomore, i have no idea about audio quality, as another guy blatantly told me in another thread. im a person who would drop money on bose, as my father did for the lifestyle 48. i think they are fantastic but i really want to find out, what are a good pair of pc speakers. ive been eyeing the logitech z cinema, but it seems as if they are the "BOSE" of pc speaker setups. what would u reccomend?

I'm not an audiophile or audio expert. However, IMHO, there are a lot of things that contribute to answering the question of what are good speakers. I personally feel that as long as you like what you hear & can afford the speakers, that is all that matters.

Anyway, I'll list a few speakers that I personally like & think that they sound good. However, do take note that you &/or the others may or may not agree. I recommend the following:

    For 2.1 speakers:

    Klipsch Promedia 2.1
    Harman Kardon SoundSticks II
    Logitech Z-2300

    For 2.0 speakers:

    M-Audio Studiophile AV40
    Audioengine A2
    Creative Labs GigaWorks T40

However, I'll kindly urge you to go to a local electronic store to "test" some of the speakers out, if at all possible. Hearing the speakers yourself is what really counts as what are "good" speakers. I suggest starting out by testing some of the speakers available for sale at your local Best Buy & so on...

Furthermore, if possible, it may also be necessary for you to actually buy the speakers home to test it at the environment/room that you're going to be using it. Part of the reason is that listening to the same speakers at a store may not be the same as actually listening to them in your home. Just make sure that you buy the speakers from a store that has a favorable return policy, in the event that you find that you do not like the speakers & want to return them within the allowable return time frame. Good luck. :)

Hmmm I mean you have to remember my use for these speakers isnt PC related parse. These ADAM A7s are 1k for a pair but their made for sound engineering. Might be overkill for your needs.

Im not really versed on the current sets of PC speakers so I cant really advise you from experience. But as the other cat said..best thing to do is to go audition them and feel out what fills your needs and tastes.

    GL :D

Oh darn! I was just about to ask you where you got those guns. I'm not interested whether they are real or fake. I make movies you see, and I need a lot of replicas when I shoot a movie so that's why I wanted to know. But it's not your room, although it's very good looking. :)
We have the exact same speakers at my school.

ok, well i remember searching up Z-2300 vs z cinema and i decided on z cinema for better looking speakers and it had >= z2300 quality. i also was looking at the SWAN M10s or something, now i remember a lot of people said that those are a NICE brand of speakers...

The Swans are nice. If you're interested in sound quality, I would avoid a company that got their start making computer mice. Buy from a dedicated speaker manufacturer... 'cept Bose of course ;)
