If it would have been 2 !tb drives I was thinking you would have been better off going with a 256gb OS drive and 2TB drive.
I went full retard....apologies!!! -

I just read the instructions again, it instructs us to revert BIOS to defaults first so I did that, then changed back to RAID from AHCI and tried again, the ME Firmware upgraded smoothly:

@Phoenix I'm not able to update the Intel HD Graphics Driver from 21.20.16.4534 to 22.20.16.4708
It says "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software" makes me wonder why...
P.s It won't let me PM you bro.
Possible solution: My GPU is enabled and I can't find the Intel one anywhere in device manager... I'll try and switch to UMA graphics.

@Phoenix Realtek S5250 Card Reader Driver v10.0.15063.21302 <-- not working
I was updating my card reader and many other drivers then suddenly in my device manager I noticed a unknown PCI device.
I then found the PnP ID and placed it in google which was " VEN_10EC&DEV_5250&SUBSYS_11B11462&REV_01"
I went and tried to update it to the new driver multiple times manually but it would say the following in device manager "the hash of the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering."
My reaction then was
P.s I updated back to the old one ( 10.0.14393.21292) and it worked...Last edited: Dec 7, 2017hmscott, Donald@Paladin44 and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

Hi,
Since I installed WIndows 10 Creators Update, even on last build 16299.125, and even with last synaptics drivers, I get an unknown hardware error, on second boot, after installing the driver. I have to uninstall it to not have that error. It never happened before with previous Windows 10 updates. Anyone facing the same issue and know how to solve it? I thought that this last update from synaptics, could solve this issue, but no -

For some reason if I have the "disable trackpad when other USB device is present" setting enabled, even if I have no other devices connected, the pad doesn't work unless I uncheck that box. I'm guessing there's some sort of conflict between the Synaptics driver and Corsair Utility Engine since I have a Corsair mouse, keyboard, and headset. It's not a huge deal because the trackpad can be disabled with one of the keyboard shortcuts, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

1) Disconnected from interwebs
2) Uninstalled using Revo uninstaller. So the existing version got removed and al the "leftovers" got nerfed too.
3) Restarted
4) Ran installer for Dragon while still offline.
5) Restarted because it and you guys told me to.
6) Re-enabled interwebs.
And... now I am back.saturnotaku, Donald@Paladin44 and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

You can just use FN+F3 and disable it that way, but that doesn't work if you're using a PS/2 driver. Only seems to work with SMbus.Spartan@HIDevolution and Donald@Paladin44 like this. -

You need to go to driver details. Most of the HID drivers use the basic microsoft driver, except some of the branded ones.
try looking in there and see if that points you in the right direction. You could also try disabling a driver and see what happens.
