In europe maybe. But North America? Doubtful. They will be kidding themselves if such price is tolerable here. We already have Origin and AW for that.

The GT60 is a beautiful piece of kit, and the 16F3 has a matte screen by default, I may be in love, if they really do have optimus I think i'm sold.

I was looking at the P150EM before, but this is a beautiful machine. Though I think both computers have the same keyboard, I noticed both have the pipe at the bottom next to the spacebar along with it being above the enter..

I am in the market to buy a laptop beginning of June, and I was wondering how much do you lot reckon the GT780 & GT680 will fall in price now that these models are out? Equipped with just Sandy Bridge and old 570m since Ivy Bridge and new Graphics Cards will be out. If not really much of a price reduction I would just go ahead and pull the trigger on one of these new models.

Also, the differences between those models and the new GT60 & GT70 aren't really all that different in actuality are they?

The chassis is different, and the 15" got the steelseries keyboard of it's larger brother. There's always the 16F3/1721 barebones versions, no branding but just as nice, and cheaper.

CPU will probably be the i7-3610qm, 2.3-3.3ghz!

    Also Ken,
In the videos they said it can hold 3 HDDs, with or without the ODD?

I'll probably get a small ssd and use it as a cache drive.

    You can either have 2 2.5" HDD's, or 2 msata SSD's + 1 2.5" HDD.

Aside from new cpu and gpu, backlit keyboard and mainboard, they still recycle the same chassis and most of the components. At least from what I have seen so far.

    Thanks Netherwind, +rep.

I wonder if the screen can be replaced by a 3D one. This did not happen with the GT780 Series.

I assume the screen is LVDS, if it is, then no, no 3d most likely. I believe we need eDP to do that, and the board has to be designed that way so it's not just a simple swap.
