    In all honesty, buy something that people have modded. Like a clevo bga unit, those have nice simple vbioses, their engineers don't actively go out to ruin a persons laptop if the firmware is modified :)

    Thank god I still had warranty, to think a £2.5k laptop broke in the same week of purchase is insane :D

    EDIT: If the dell vbios has been modded before then go for it. I know I modded a dell 15 inspirion ultrabook gt 750m vbios to undervolt it and that was easily done.

    Well I'll probably get this card for free so... I will stick to it and maybe try to repair the old one ;)
