I got this pc yesterday and have been playing games on it all night and can tell you it just does not get hot. I have been checking it every 30 or so to make sure and I have not seen a temp over 79 degrees video or processor. That is running on "sports" setting and with the max fan option off.

I am having a issue where my touch pad will not switch to the number pad . Any one have a solution. I have made sure tapping zones where on. I also Uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled no fix.

Solved Had to do a total driver removal and delete all files from the registry. Then restart and reinstall.

Not sure how this comes about. I have never seen it happen. But, then again I am often reloading OS, changing SSD, and testing, so perhaps it would happen if I left the install "age" longer... but I think I left it as is for a couple of months at least and still didn't see the num pad disappear.

I just tried it, and double tapping on Num Lock lit up the numpad aok :)

You might try posting in the main GT80 forum, there is more activity there:

What about fan noise? Is it acceptable?

It's about the same as GT72, which is acceptable to majority of users.
