Webcam works with the default automatically-installed windows drivers.
Check SCM and see if your webcam is disabled or not.

I have an MSI-1763 GT70 2OD with a battery light that has started blinking blue.

The notebook will boot and operate as normal.

The battery was swapped out with a fully charged backup battery, but the blue blinking light persists.

I find it difficult to believe two batteries would fail at the same time especially with a backup battery that hasn't been used for months.

Additionally, the Ethernet port has failed. Before it wasn't sensing an inserted cable 100% of the time and would randomly deactivate. Now it will not detect an inserted cable at all. Changing cables and router ports had no effect.

    Any ideas ?

    Try a battery re-calibration.

The monitor on my GT702OD is displaying a vertical blue line from the top of the screen to the bottom. The line is constant and starts displaying at the BIOS screen.

Is this a problem with the monitor or the GPU cable?

It's not a problem with the GPU because I can't take a screenshot of the blue line.

Does anyone know what the part numbers for the monitor and monitor cable ?

Its probably this one but you might want to confirm it yourself.

The same store has 30 more MSI cables so be sure before buying. And warespare sells for cheaper on aliexpress.

    Unrelated to above:
I can't believe I have just found about Silent Option which is kind of like an alternative to the fan control application. If you want the speed to change automatically this is just better.

It might not be compatible with i7-37xx CPUs.
