I just tried logging into the registration, it works fine.
What do you have on the screen right now? Can you take a screenshot?

The msi forum tends to be good depending on the issue.

hi there, yes i did and it brings up the other image i posted, and just loops, every time i click on one, it brings up the same screen...strange
-
Just for the record I am getting exactly the same issue with the added edition of it doesn't keep any of my registered details if I log out MSI doesn't have me as a registered member anymore.....
-
On another note I just upgraded to windows 8.1 it was a real pain with my connection, and as I am re installing many updates I just realized I cant run dragoon gaming center if I have SCM installed..to be honest I am not sure what dragoon gaming center even does this is the first time i installed it.
-
Now;
SCM is having trouble turning bluetooth on and off. Touch button for airplane mod gives me an error with a very long description... Also, "Dragoon gaming center" has hybrid power submenu but I also have the old hybrid power app, don't know if they will conflict (no mention of this anywhere). -
hi yes i seem to experience that where the registration details do not seem to store....glad it is not just me

Hi all, I have a few questions:
1. What program can I use to measure the temperature of CPU and GPU
2. What temperature are normal temperatures? When should I pay attention to the CPU and GPU temperatures, at what values temperature is exceeded the norm for my CPU and GPU?
3. Installation of Windows 8.1 also gives you a lot of problems with drivers ? -
still unable to register and store details, this is infuriating

Interesting, I moved over to 8.1 with my 16F3 and have been good so far too, is your system running tweaked at all?
-
I have some Critical Errors id 41 (Kernel-Power) on 8.1
also i have some problems with USB ports - my external 2TB Seagate shuts down for no reason. -
Hi everyone. Every couple days I get a crash that seems GPU related. So far it's always been when I have a 2nd monitor plugged in to the HDMI. Today it crashed when I came back from lunch to wake the computer back up. Typing in my password and laptop screen goes fuzzy and locks before rebooting. I've downgraded to Win 7, running a 840 pro, 4700, 12gb ram. Do I need to update my bios & firmware? It's about the only thing I haven't done yet. The rest of the updates & drivers are up to date. Thanks!

Do you have any issues in 3d applications?
-
Nvidia drivers did have an issue resuming from sleep when HDMI was connected. I experienced that issue many times with windows 8. It is fixed for me now using the Nvidia driver that was released earlier this week.

i did try the USA one, but that would not accept it as was not an american model -
The only 3d application I use so far is Autodesk Inventor. It's a 3d design software, no problems so far. I'm testing these to see if I want to use them for laptop workstations. The only problem I've experienced is I unplugged the HDMI cable when the computer was asleep & got BSOD and now the repeated wake from sleep crashes. This is with 331.58 & the previous driver too.

Update the driver to the latest nVidia driver will take care of the symptom.
NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce 331.58 Driver WHQL -
I upgraded to 331.58 a couple days ago. Same problem, crashed overnight.
And crashed again when I locked it at lunch.
Can't very well use it like that. For now, I unplugged the HDMI & plugged 2nd monitor in with VGA cable. I might prefer it this way since it will just hang out with the GPU off until I boot up Inventor. I locked the computer with Inventor up & the GPU running to see if it would crash again. So far, so good, but I don't plan to use it this way long-term. My ears are open for a solution. -
Sent out my laptop for keyboard repair as well as an issue with the LCD having some issues, keyboard was fixed I think (they didn't include any paperwork on what was done. I'm pretty sure nothing was done about the LCD. When it came back, I had a hard time connecting it up to the wireless, not sure what happened. I removed the driver and installed the latest one, and will be installing 8.1 here in a bit to see if that helps.
Basically it would work for a few minutes then NOTHING.
Well updating to the newest drivers hasn't change a darn thing. I've also checked the DNS settings and tried some other DNS servers, and still I'm having issues with it staying connected. I keep getting "webpage cannot be found" after a few minutes. Even when I went to submit a ticket to MSI it failed on trying to contact them.
Since I've already had to send this puppy out, I'd really like to not have to send it back, and I'd hate to do a format and reinstall I mean the laptop is only 3 months old for pete sake, it shouldn't have this many issues! -

Intel Driver
Reinstall nVidia driver using Custom Installation and click on Perform Clean Install. -
Does anyone with a GT70 get horizontal lines in dark areas when there is movement on screen? I assumed this was only an issue with the Asus G750 and it was part of the reason why I went with MSI. The MSI is good but my screen has banding issues and horizontal lines during movement in dark areas. It's the CHI MEI N173HGE-L11. My first screen had a dead pixel and I had to have it replaced. Is this normal?
I'm thinking I may have to spend more money . -
That seems to have fixed it. Except I grabbed the Win 7 driver since that's what I'm running. Thanks!
Correction. Crashed again at lunch on wake up. Now it doesn't see the HDMI at all after the crash & reboot. This was with driver 9.18.10.3257, should I try the new Win 8 even though I'm running Win 7 Pro? Back to VGA land... -

After installing the new version of BIOS, when switching off the computer and turn it on again, when you start the operating system - Windows wheel rotates as if it was in slomotion - the system runs for a long time. Restart the computer does the trick - the system will load in seconds.
Then again, the same thing when i switching off power and power it on.
When i restart my laptop problem don't occurs. -

Stock applications and packages after switching to win8pro
===========================================
Hi all,
I recently switched my os to windows8 pro and got all the drivers and everything looks fine.
However, all the stock settings apps and themes are now missing. I especially miss the red dragon theme which is a really cool one and I want to switch back to it. My kids also liked that puzzle rpg game that also came with windows game.
Any suggestions or help?
Thank you in advanced -

True, as usual, you have to wait a few months before new product from Microsoft's will be fit for use.

anyone else having stuttering issues in some games with vysnc on when using either the 311.58 or the 311.65 drivers? The frame rate is fine, but I get awful stutter. Did not have this problem in any games with the 327.23's.
Tomb Raider and Batman:AC don't stutter, but BF4 and Bioshock Infinite do horribly. Problem goes away totally when I turn vync off but then of course I get screen tearing.
Issue is that BF4 won't even boot unless you have either the 311.58 or 311.65 drivers installed (with the 327.23's you get a "BF4 has encountered a problem and needs to close" popup every time you try to load the game).
From what I've heard its apparently to do with Optimus. Even if you set the Nvidia GPU to be used all the time via the Nvidia control panel the problem is still there. -
did any one try the latest Nvidia 331.65 WHQL driver ? I found that my GPU clock stuck at 324 mhz when gaming
-
Which tool did you use?
-
-
Did you log to file to be sure that the figures are exact - the graphs may be wrong and generally Afterburner and other RivaTuner based tools do not support mobile devices.

so after 3 days of nothing but trouble with my internet connection after updating to 8.1, I've reinstalled and gone back to 8.0.
My wireless connection itself was not dropping, but I was intermittently unable to access websites etc. No pattern, on and off, would drop and then eventually come back. After some reading around online there appears to be a TON of similar issues reported with Win 8.1, especially with killer network adapters. Updating the killer drivers to the latest version did not help.
Going to sit with Win 8.0 now until I'm totally sure than 8.1 will be safe. Not going to get burned twice. -

I may have run into that once but I can't be sure, turning the adapter on and off with the touchpanel brought mine back.
I'd say there is no need to rush to 8.1 -
