How long did your T60 take to ship

Yeah, my T60 didn't really get held up in customs either. Took about two business days until it was at my doorstep, and it actually got moved around over the weekend as well, so about 4 days total (including the day it shipped).

42T3241 42T3273 is my keyboard and it is chicony. How do you like the keyboard. I think everybody who has received shipment recently has got chicony keyboard.

 

I love it man. Most enjoyable keyboard I ever worked with. I understand like a lot people said before, that chicony is last by quality in compare to other ones which used on thinkpads, but I personally love it.

 

Ordered April 16, shipped today, June 4: 49 days. After complaining, I was put on critical list (because order was more than 5 weeks old), and at my request my Lenovo sales rep is speaking to supervisor about a price adjustment.

Congratulations.

Interesting that some of us are still waiting on orders that were placed in April....and we were told that the delay was due to a shortage of 15.4" WSXGA+ screen.

So, when the part became avalable they were allocated to the most recent orders?

 

When I emailed support I got...

 

I still wait for my order...so far i have been changing 5 e-mail with lenovo`s support

 

My order have been shipped two hours ago.. I`m so happy

Ps: I ordered 04/28/07 and my second shipping date was 06/16/07

Finally I received my thinkpad after I came back from vacation yesterday. It is a bit bigger than what I had expected. Chicony Keyboard, although good but is somewhat noisy. Body construction is good. Vista keeps hard drive busy all the time. Overall worth the wait of 2.5 months.

 

Got mine yesterday too NMB keyboard w/ a good looking samsung lcd panel(little leakage but otherwise ok)
Overall i am happy with my purchase.

 

The keyboard is a Chicony. It's the same one I have on my T61 and I find it to be very good for my tastes.

 

Ordered a T60P on 5/4. It finally arrived 6/19.....3 weeks after the original shipment date. No explanations despite numerous 1 hour waits to Customer Service. Lenova has gotten my first and last order.

 

I ordered a customized T60p Flexview (2613CT) through the Lenovo USA website.

To be delivered next business day: Mon 6/25/2007 AM

Only 2.5 days were required to build and ship after my order was placed. I'm super impressed so far. I chose UPS Ground but they sent by UPS Express from Hong Kong. Since it shipped from China, UPS Ground wasn't really an option. In fact, delivery is scheduled for next business day delivery. View the UPS Express tracking.

Details of my custom order are in my sig below. I'm quite surprised because the original ship date was August 20th and the website still says "call" for estimated ship date (no longer 2 or 3 weeks). Maybe the turnaround is so fast that they want you to call because the wait time is too short to post publicly? Haha
