I can do that when I get home. The surface temps (on the keyboard) get hot under load, but the CPU/GPU stay within reasonable limits. I can give actual hard numbers later on today.

I have the UHD display, so I can't comment on the FHD one. However, the panel most used by Dell for the FHD display is the LG LP156WF6-SPK1, so any searches on that should help you.

Guess I´ll try Updating the bios.

Still find it weird. I know the 4K display uses more power but like 50% more power seems weird.

Yeah it does have a bit backlight bleeding, not too much though and only on the lower left corner. Though it's hard to see unless you have a completely black background and are at like 100% brightness

Well, a 4K display has 4x the pixels of a FHD monitor, so in theory, the amount of battery drained by the display should be at least 100% greater (it likely won't be 4x as high, since the amount of light being generated isn't greater, just the amount of pixels the machine needs to operate is 4x as high). The total hit on your battery life will depend on how much of your total battery consumption is attributable to your screen. If you're watching a video file that is located on your machine (so not using your wifi chip), the keyboard backlight is off and you're using headphones instead of the speakers, the majority of your laptops' power demands are likely coming from the display panel. So in that scenario, it's entirely possible that your overall battery life takes a 50% hit, since most of your battery usage is coming from the display panel.

Just an example, of course. But using a UHD display that requires pushing 4x as many pixels will have a huge impact on battery life. Think about your cell phone - the screen is often the #1 source of battery use. So if you increase the battery drain of that component by 100% or more, the component that used to account for 25% of your battery use now accounts for 50% of it.

I've tried searching the panel but so far nothing about OC. Thanks though. hopefully someone else will try to OC their FHD display and get back to me.

They were both at -100mV. Running at stock voltages results in temps 3-5C higher.

    Hi Guys,

Recently I purchased Dell Inspiron 7567 lowest spec which come with 1tb hdd and 1050 graphic card.

I wish to upgrade the storage to ssd. Hence, I purchased Intel 600p M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Unfortunately, once I slot in the intel ssd, the bios unable to detect it at all. Tried Disk Management, same results.

Do anyone here success to install the intel ssd?
