    well i just ordered my lappy 2 days ago and i was wondering who else have the same estimated shipping date... if so please comment something :p

    it will. and did you notice, dell still has a flash ad up on the msn page advertising these laptops "in time for school!" ha right. that's what i thought when i ordered mine in july. classes started last week and ive not gotten mine yet...

    I ordered brown on 7/23, and its been delayed 3 times to 9/5.

    This is completley BS. I'm moving into my res on the 2nd without a laptop, but theres nothing I can do. I cant find any alternative to the 1520 without spending AT LEAST $500 more. Catch-22, I guess.

    I guess i belong here, even though i ordered a Lat D630 on 8/12, hopefully mine will ship on 9/6 i have overnight shipping so hopefully it will get here in time for me to go home for labor day weekend, as my little brother will awfully disappointed because i am passing my venerable 600m on to him. They have already upgraded me to free overnight does anyone think i could talk them into throwing in a free bag. those dell corporate backpacks for the latitude look nice.

    i doubt it, most people that are getting a couple of freebies are because they have waited well over 20 days or have returned an item for a fault on dell's part. but you can try...

    why dont you call dell and scream at those guys so they can put some attention to you =P... and act like your about to cancel and maybe they´ll do something smart or fast

    I've already spent hours on the phone with customer care, but all I've learned from that is that customer care can't do ****. They know nothing more than I do, they can't do more than I can. Ah well, they still got nine days left. At least it didn't get pushed back to october (not yet at least). :p
