Sure I'll do it next time because I am testing something else right now.

y u didn't answer my question ?? -
It is still reallllly weird cos your reference memory clock is 400MHz @ GS. It should be 700MHz. Even your overclocking setups cannot match to Nvidias own specs.
And if u make simple calculation of GTs and GSs specs, texture filtering is normal. Only stream processors differs in hardware level. Nothing more. -
-
Or maybe there is driver issue. Who knows. Difference between these shouldn't be that much.
-
-
Those core/mem clocks are just nvidia's reference specs. Manufacturers will always play with them for whatever reason..to lengthen the battery life or to meet the thermal design requirement or to segment their products better..
Like the 7700 case:
http://www.nvidia.com/page/go_7600.html
The GeForce Go 7700 reference page shows Go 7700 should have a 16GB/sec memory bandwidth, translate to memory clock:
16GB / 128bit(16) = 1000Mhz DDR. That is the reference memory clock, while in real world, the go 7700 in G1 is being clocked @400Mhz(or 800Mhz DDR..) in mem.. -

I just wanted 1440x900 to compare it to the Zepto score from the Quick review:

I'm pretty sure that OC software puts up the non-DDR rates. If so that is showing 100 MHz more than nVidia's advertised spec.
If not, which is also fairly possible based on the program, Most cards I have OC'd were NOT even able to reach the factory specs given by the companies (ATi or nVidia), in at least one area. The mem clock is almost always the one that never reaches, and is also underclocked. The coreclock I have seen go up to 20 percent and some change more than the manufacturer's specs. -
only 1 other benchmakr shouldn't be too hard to process
1024x768 or 1280x800 oder 1440x900, whatever...
would be nice if you could spend those 10mins
world is waiting to compare the difference between GDDR2 (400mhz) and GDDR3 (700mhz) AND YOU CAN SOLVE THAT RIDDLE WITH ONLY 1 BENCHMARK!!!
-
Guys please take into account that Ken is doing this on his own time, Ask once, Politely, He will get to it when he can.
-
Does anyone know why the new Samsung R70 got a 3Dmark06 score of 2743 with a 8600 GS (notebookcheck.net), and the F3SV-B1 gets a 2068?
-
Also, bear in mind Ken's contributions to the forum the next time you upgrade. I found a slightly lower price on a G1S elsewhere, but I'm buying from Ken. -
What (physically) is different between the GT and GS? What I am wondering is, will I be able to unlock some of the pipelines of the GS, like is possible with the 6800XT?
Also, thanks for all the benchmarks and info on the cards! -
I think the GS has 16 Stream Prozessoren and the GT 32.
-
I am running 3DMark06 on G1S at 1024X768 right now for the 3rd time, I got around 47XX for the first 2 times, I didn't believe the difference so I check to make sure I wasn't overclock, reboot and testing it right now will post the finally result.
-
-
Wow, so... just play at 1024X768 everybody.
-
-
And now, overclocked:
-
Wow! Tha is almost 950 points (non overclocked) more then the Zepto with the GDDR2. The Asus C90s also uses the same card as the Zepto? Or does it have 512MB at GDDR3 speed?
-
-
lol, nah seriously thats pretty crazy man.
Anyways,

F3SV-B1 3DMark06 at 1024X768 no overclock:
-
OH MY GOD!!!!
u r THE man Ken Thank u
thats mean the G1S is my lappy
mmmm no until we get a C90 review ,,,,
i think the G1S well get 11000 point in 3dmark05 loool
thx gentech

pleeeeease GenTech
pleeeease some battery tests
if u have some time
offtopic:does c90 have A/V in jack??
thx
-Jabriiiz
_______________
wanna c90 ? Gentech have the BEST prices on THE net -
-
I will do battery test, it's just take time.
No AV in jack on C90S, it required TV-Tuner card.
Good night guys, I am going to bed. -
Was kinda hoping for a much better F3 at that res.
-
but there no TV tuner option in ur site i thought its will be built in , ok if its have a tv tuner its will come with A/V in jack???
GooD NightE i hope nice dreams with benchmark marks lol

The R70 tests were run at 1280x800. But the score is still strange because the R70 has a slower CPU (only 1,8ghz) and the score is pretty high. It beets the F3SV score at 1024x768 even.
-
wow the F3Sv really really disappoints.
-
Ken. U DA MAN!
Thanks for taking the time to run the benchmarks. I propose everyone who wanted the benchmarks should add to kens rep for not only benchmarking but changing the res for those of us who asked.
G1S FTW!!! It got more than the zepto while OC!!! -
-
Ken we need one more last bench plz
These marks for G1S with 8600GT 256MB GDDR3
@ 1024*768/513/1026/702/4746 points
@ 1024*768/594/1188/729/5213 points
@ 1024*768/621/1242/738/5??? points
@ 1280*1024/513/1026/702/3 630points
@ 1280*1024/594/1188/729/4221 points
@ 1280*1024/621/1242/738/4345 points
Note: All these benchmark done using 3dmark06 ,stock drivers and RivaTuner for OC'ing
I hope that's be helpful
Btw: poor Zepto --JaJaJa--

Does anybody have a confirmation that the final version of 6625W(Zeptos 15,4") and/or 6224W(Zeptos 14,1") is going to have GDDR2 or GDDR3? -
Yes it was confirmed by the Admin at zeptoforum.com. Both have 512MB GDDR2.
-
Since the FSB is 800 MHz, does that mean the 3DMark scores will be higher, because the G1S turbo caches VRAM, when 800 MHz GDDR3 RAM is used in a G1S?
-
AlexOnFyre Needs to get back to work NBR Reviewer
yessir. You are correct. In the case of VRAM 800MHz makes a difference (as opposed to SDRAM) because of the turbo-cache ability.
-
AlexOF, thanks. Yet another factor favoring the G1S. "Live" with 2 gigs of 667 until 800 is available, then u/g to 4 gigs of 800. That's my plan.
-
Does anyone know what's Zepto's score at 1280X1024? I am just curious.
Thanks in advance. -
Wow, 5k with OC thats freaking awesome!
-
-
1280X800 is still different than 1280X1024, I think maybe is because the LCD is WXGA+ that's why they only benchmark at 1280X800? -
