I've been experiencing key registration issues, primarily with the 6-8 number area. It's been getting worse over the last 12-18 months and it can take a few tries to get those keys to register on screen, though once they have it seems ok for a bit.
I have read many posts regarding pushing in the keyboard cable so it fits tightly again, but mine already seems to fit snugly. Is there something else I could try? Would be surprising to be mechanical wear as I rarely use those keys.

I'm starting to see the same thing. It could be dirt underneath the keys.

Have you tried disassembling and cleaning? I'm hoping to avoid a new keyboard, but even getting in there for a cleaning is a significant task.

    Long shot but here goes.

I inherited my brothers UX32VD after he upgraded. I think it was hit with a bad Intel 4000 graphic driver update, corrupting the EDID display information on the system board, bricking the screen.

There is a possible fix outlined here, but I don't have another UX32VD to extract this or test

This might be the better option https://github.com/bulletmark/edid-rw

USB boot your UX32VD into live linux, run this python script to extract the EDID values, and then send them to me so I can trying manually overwriting the values on my system board with your good ones.

One other catch, I think your UX32VD needs to have the IPS LCD panel. If you're feeling adventurous, I'd love to hear from you.
