Sorry pooria-ir but I don't have asus built-in bluetooth, but still on StationDrivers the latest driver for Broadcom/WidComm Bluetooth 2070/20702 is apparently this http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/broadcom/bluetooth/broadcom_bluetooth_6.5.1.2700(www.station-drivers.com).exe

    Also an unrelated good news:

Latest AMD Mobility Radeon AMD Catalyst™ Display Drivers

    Version 12.8

    AMD Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

If the downloader will refuse to download anything, get the drivers directly from AMD site: http://www2.ati.com/DriVeRs/mobile/12-8_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc.exe

Newer Renesas/NEC USB 3.0 Drivers. Too lazy at the moment to find the link.

MUCH newer audio drivers. Follow the link for audio drivers on the first page (asus audio driver page).

USB 3 broken with windows 8

windows 8 drivers or renesas drivers is same...

    any idea ?

edited dec 6 : with OLD USB3 windows 7 drivers 1.0180 all my devices are recognised and my sata disk in usb3 box have good average speed transfer now but my Verbatim 16Gb USB3 key give only 11Mb/s speed.... reformated (NTFS) and optimised, its the same.. but If I uplod some file from it to my PC I have good average speed around 71Mb/s... but 11Mb/s from PC to key..
Anyone have clue about this ? tell me what USB3 drivers version are you using with windows 8?

updated dec 18 = problem come from my verbatim usb3 key its a scrap ! anyway W8 do not accept other USB3 drivers than the OLD stock one from asus 1.0180

Does someone have a mirror of the graphics driver?

    ATI Catalyst 12.1 (02/16/2012)

Link in OP is dead. Thanks in advance. (I did try simply installing the latest generic ATI Catalyst driver for Mobile Radeon 5xxx series, but it didn't work - BSOD during installation.)

My 2nd question.. I installed the following updates today from the OP:

    Chipset V9.3.0.1020 (02/16/2012)
    USB 3.0 V2.1.28.1 (02/16/2012)
    Wireless Console 3 v3.0.31.0

Notably, I didn't update the Realtek sound drivers.. but, I've just noticed that the "HDMI" tab in "Realtek HD Audio Manager" has disappeared! Now I only have "Speakers", and "Digital" tabs in there, no seperate HDMI. Any ideas why this might be?

To try and fix it I've just installed the newest version of Realtek (V6.0.1.6873), which is even newer than the one listed in the OP (V6.0.1.6413 ). But still, the HDMI tab has not reppeared.

My laptop is a N71JQ model, not N61JQ.

you shouldn't need the webcam driver for it windows 8 has the native driver for it. uninstall the asus driver and let windows 8 install the native driver to the webcam

here is a suggestion create a system restore point first and try all 3 suggestions below if none of them work then just go to system restore and everything will be set back to what it once was before doing the following below.

have you tried right clicking on the webcam drivers and going to compatibility mode and choosing windows 7 64bit before installing the drivers? if not uninstall the current webcam driver and this time do the following above before you install the driver again.

if that doesn't work go to the next step.

have you tried older azurewware webcam drivers?

uninstall the wecam driver you have in there, look for version azueware Version V5.8.55133.207 and install that version

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download Camera

if that doesn't work follow the next step

it could be the manycam software itself causing your cam to flip upside down. try removing it and see if that helps.

hey, thanks to help. however, i've tried the 3 steps and nothing works. With the recent driver and version V5.8.55133.207 in compatibility mode W7, my camera doesn't appear in list of skype. and without manycam doesn't works too.

the only solution would be :
    - reinstall w7
    - buy an ext camera

    .|. asus

edit : now manycam works with metro skype. nice... but i would prefer a driver instead of a software :/

hmm then it seems like the metro app software maybe interfering with the webcam driver software then if you say it works with the metro app but not with the desktop software of Skype so what I would suggest is create another partition and install windows 7 on it go to the following video link it will show you step by step how to do that if you don't know how.

How to create a new partition in Windows 8

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtnsdjoxW0s

i'd set the partition at 30gbs and the first thing I would do is install the driver software and the Skype software as soon as you are done installing windows 7 on that partition.

if you want to retake the partition back and give it all back to windows 8 after you are done messing around with the drivers in windows 7 go to the link below it will show you step by step instructions how to do that. or if you just want to keep the partition for something else like Linux or anything else you can just leave it and format windows 7 off of it

How to Remove a Partition in Windows 7

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxqvrxeekRs

if you just decide to do away with windows 8 and go back to windows 7 then you won't need to bother with the final step..

Thanks for the suggestion about not needing a dedicated driver for the webcam in widows 8, and thanks for keeping this great and useful thread going.

    Hi Guys,

Anyone else having issues with their N61JQ running Win 8.0/8.1 under battery power ? Aside from the camera being upside down - when I pull the mains power the screen just goes blank. It's the same when booting under battery power ...all seems to go ok until it finishes booting and then the screen goes off, right when you'd expect to login

Here are the latest drivers for this laptop as of Sept of 2013... Owners of this or so seeing as I try to do annual updates for these drivers on this laptop model.

Note.... for all the drivers that are located on the station-drivers website, Windows 8 users should download the Windows 8 version of these drivers that are located next to the Windows 7 versions only. if there are no drivers or no new drivers version next to the Windows 8 section, then don't download the Windows 7 driver versions, as some of those drivers are incompatible with Windows 8 and vice versa.

    I don't use windows 8 seeing as I don't care for it.

I didn't run into this problem when I tried out windows 8 in this laptop, but a couple of things.

how good is your battery life?

Also have you updated to the latest ATI\AMD graphics drivers?

Does this happen also in safe mode?

Has anyone tried updating the ATI driver for this laptop to 13.9?

I currently have 13.4. When I tried to update to 13.9 it gave me no backlight during the installation and a red error message. Backlight works during startup loading screens and safe mode but after start up is finished in regular mode, the backlight turns off and cannot turn on. i had to use a restore point to get back to 13.4.

Let me know if anyone else is having the issue.
