largest FPS gain i've gotten with OC'ing the GPU was in farcry2... a solid 10fps gain! ... most other games it ranges from 5-10FPs.. still pretty darn impressive...

when the caplock and others are flashing its a very bad sign, calling dell asap is highly recommended.

anyone with a watt-meter know how many watts this beast uses when playing a game like BC2.. screen turned halfway bright?

I know running the CPU+GPU full blast with screen up uses about 170~ watts roughly..

any input would be really appreciated!

Looks like a loose Display connection. Try to shake your m15x a bit and switch it on. Or you can open it up and check the display connection.. Had that issue once just connected the display cable and problem solved...

the newest one 197.16 seem to work pretty good for bf2, but also did you set it to play in dx9 instead of auto which is dx10.

Hey.. inapp.. did you try prototype.. it seems to be throttling the gpu.... with the new drivers and the bios even though bfbc2 doesn't throttle the gpu at all.. maybe prototype doesn't stress the gpu enough to push it to 3d clocks...

Sorry, I was working all night!
Err wlel I called Dell, a weird tech told me a couple of stuff to do [disconnect memory &HDD.. etc] it didnt work.. So a tech will be coming to my house early next week (monday or tuesday). He thinks its a motherboard issue, personnally I think it's got to be related to me, starting to overclock and messin' in the Bios (with my ram frequency and my gpu)...
So I dont know what to do, when I try to boot it, I hear the fan, bugging and all..
    Mehh
Sadface :( I'm currently on my old and dusty dell inspiron 1501. Its horrible :(
Thanks everyone for the advice, I'm gonna try everything you suggested!
    Also, you lucky m o f o Jstarnino :O

Yeah disconnect the coin battery. Open up the panel underneath and unplug the little connector for the battery and gave press the power button to drain any power then reconnect. That should reset your bios
