I misread my delivery earlier, i thought it had reached Denmark (DK) but its on it was there from India :/ so arrives is ETA is 2015-04-23

    Date Time Location Activity Reasons
    2015-04-12 07:39 DK - SCHENKER CALCULATE ETA
2015-04-12 04:15 DK - SCHENKER AWAITING ARRIVAL TO SORTING HUB DK

    Hate the wait :(

Please do share your experience with your beast :D

Good to hear, wonder what no screen bleed looks like, i mean i know what it is but not how bad it can be on this screen.
Do you try with black background or what sort of testing do you do to see how good or bad the bleeding is ? Just curious how to test mine once it gets here.

its hard to see in the camera, its basically search for screen bleed test in youtube then when the screen is black u can notice if there is light bleed on the corner of the screen, like the lights are coming out from the holes

Dell should have sent you an email with the return label incase it didn't come in the box.

If not contact them and they'll email it to you.

Yupp did that, i think i have a better understanding of it, thanks, will try it once i get it. I'm very picky to be honest so i hope its not a big issue using the laptop if it has bleeding, i have to wait almost 4 weeks for delivery :/

Cheers, its good to know :D Alienware is the only brand beside apple to give proper support (atleast on paper/homepage) so i hope they can live up to their promise (i also bought 4 year warranty to be sure i'm covered).

Ordered it on April 4, and it was estimated to arrive on April 20, but it showed up on the 11th! And Dell didn't even email me that it had shipped until the 12th.

Is that typical you think? Mine says "shipped, in transit" as of 4-22, but the tracking number only says "label created". Looks like FedEx received it on 4-18, but otherwise there have been no updates since then. Wondering if I should have someone home to receive the package just in case it shows up. Either way, its been pretty fast. I ordered on the 15th.

I have no idea, but after my experience, I would say try to be flexible because it might not show up when you think it will. The weirdest part was getting a "your laptop was shipped!" email the day after it already had missed the first delivery attempt.

    Hey
For any reason Dell suddenly raised dramatically all alienware 's prices, here in France, so i m reluctant buying one...
Alienware 13 with i7, 16Go, ips and M2.2 drive went from 1500€ up to 1800+ euros, no discount .... seriously Dell ?

Ordered on 4/25. The estimated delivery is 5/10

    AW 15
    i7-4710HQ
    970M

Also ordered the Graphic Amp. I have a GTX 780 from my old desktop here and an Acer XB270H G-Sync montior. I want to be able to upgrade to a desktop GTX 980 in the future (if my 780 wont achieve 144 FPS in my favorite game) .

I really really really wanted to buy an AW 13 but I think the available CPU's will all bottleneck a GTX 980. In my opinion the cheapest CPU that AW offers that will not bottleneck a GTX 980 is the quad core i7-4710 so thats why I decided on the AW 15.

I currently use a M17x-R3 with an i7-2670QM & 7970M gpu. This laptop is just too damn heavy and bulky. I've made due with it for nearly 3 years but I need a gaming laptop that is a bit more "mobile".

This AW 15 should perform slightly better than my M17x- R3 right out of the box but the cool thing is I get to also use it with my G-sync monitor & GTX 780 (GTX 980 someday) in my office. I just hope its as light and mobile as I think it is........it has to be better than lugging this big ass 17" around.

Dell said mine was shipped, but by tracking number just says "label created". Its been like that since 4-18. Its now 4-27. ETA is 5-1. I emailed support this weekend to make sure things are okay, and they opened up a support ticket. I was hoping it'd show up this week, but I'm not giving my hopes up.

Update: Things finally started moving. It should arrive tomorrow!

Ordered an Alienware 13 bare bones (cheaper to up the ram through newegg or amazon.) when into production on 9/29. EDD is 10/14. Ill just be happy if it comes on the EDD. I have heard some horror stories about dell shipping times. EDIT: I am also located in Pensylvania and got free 3-5 day shipping.

Dont' worry about the EDD date.As long as it is in production you should have it within 2 weeks at most.

At this point ill just be happy to get it though I am being uber impatient. My old laptop was an Asus G74SX. Loved the thing but after 4 years something went wrong with the AC/DC adapter and it just fried the motherboard. So here I am with no laptop obsessively checking the order status site from my work computer lol.

I just ordered one Wednesday morning and it went in production a couple hours after I ordered it so now comes the extreme wait, luckily I ordered it overnight though so That'll be nice I ordered the top model with everything maxed! Can not wait for it to come now!
