XPS 9570 mod to 5530 i9 P2000 Motherboard upgrade

    I am curious if this is possible is the lower chassis the same? Can i drop the motherboard in and Go! My laptop is the XPS 15 4k i7 8750h and the GTX1050ti max q. i am looking to drop in the i9 8950HK and the Quadro P2000 variant i believe this is the part number X78C1

    I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't work. Check to make sure that the position of screw holes on the motherboard are the same (pretty sure they are). It'll be a bit of a pain to strip the system down to get the motherboard out but other parts are basically identical between the two so basically you will be turning your laptop into a Precision 5530 if you do this.

    on a diff note i installed the AC 9260 wifi card today!
