What are my options for replacing a extremely worn touchpad surface on a Dell lattitude D630? Or should I just live with it?

Is it worn to the extent of affecting functionality or just acquired a well-used appearance?

If so, you could possibly try polish or car wax...

:notworthy: I wouldn't do that. The polish may confuse the ability of the touchpad to sense finger movements.
