I'm in the process to order a M6400 and can't decide which lan card to get. They offer Dell or Intel and was wondering what other have been getting for there system.

Later I maybe using Ubuntu as my other OS in virtual mode and I know it is picky getting wireless to work in Ubuntu.

    TB:rolleyes:

The safest bet would be intel's card because it should be certified compatible with the motherboard. Dell's options are not bad just so you know.

I chose the Intel 5300 as well. As far as I know, the only difference seems to be the maximum supported bandwidth. No idea if Intel devices are more compatible. Since M6400 does support Red Hat Linux, I assume any of the choices should work, no?
