Why not share how 7 run on our precisions m6400 ?

    - I'm using win 7 build 7048 x64 working really well (way better and faster than XP sp3, however I never thought to use Vista..).
there was some issues with build 7000 and Adobe CS4 production apps (like premiere, encore, AE) now solved with 7048
    - The only nvidia driver I found working well are 179.44 for Win vista x64, installed without modding nv_disp.inf
the one provided from windows update for 7 (179.43 win7 i think) was not working (the screen turn white)
    - video drivers, security hub drivers and bluetooth drivers are the only drivers I had to install, 7 detectet and installed anything else
    - bluetooth drivers don't work very well with my nokia
-I tried and worked far cry 2, crysis, c. warhead..
-To play video I use "media player classic HC" x64 working well
-to play audio foobar2000 also working perfectly

I don't like trasparency and I wait when will be possible to use custom and minimal themes..

I am running Win 7 as well.. but I forgot which build it is - how can I find this? and where do I find the build 7048?
I have much same experience, just a few drivers needed and the new beta win. video driver fails as you observe.
But yeah, it is pretty great! Had a few IE crashes and then MS said it had a patch and now no crash!... it does say something about fixing Intel Chipset, but I haven't tried...

to know what's your build simply write "sys" inside start menu search bar,
you'll see appear "System information" under programs. there.

I don't know if I can post here link to the win7 7048 x64 to rrent..
sorry i think you have to find it yourself, but it's about easy, you know..

    Windows 7 7057 RC1 x86 is out.
    I can't find the 64 bit yet.
I'm waiting for my M6400 and I hope the 64 bit will be out by then.

lol, 7065 is out now !
this reminds me of the last few weeks of vista beta testing :)

They gave us 4 builds, in the last of testing before it went gold .
