Installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and Flash is slower than it was on Vista. Also, it will stutter at times when playing back 1080p trailers from Apple. Anyone have similar experiences?

I can't explain the flash issue but can you try a HD video sample from Microsoft, just to discount Apple trying to sink Windows 7.

Have you installed all of the drivers, especially the video ones? Those can make a huge difference.

Yeah, I had the most recent Dell driver for the video. Same version as the one on nVidia's site too.

Oh well, I'll just go back to Vista for the time being as there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the two.

Use Shark007 codec pack - install the 64-bit extension, and open Shark007 x64 panel and enable Windows Media Player 64-bit, and see if you HD movies plays smoother.

Flash is using your CPU to render anything... So it wounds like a motherboard issue. On my side, I have no performance decrease in Vista, in fact I gain performance... and like we have the same laptop. You probably have a driver conflict. Uninstall your motherboard and video card driver, use CCleaner to clean your registry, restart your computer, and install the Intel motherboard drivers and then install Nvidia mobile drivers 195 series BETA from nvidia website.

If you wonder for NvGPUPro, I'll have a beta version (more like release candidate), of NvGPUPro that I'll post later today.
