I was thinking of putting the beta on when it comes out later today. Will any of the Vista video/trackpoint/??? drivers work? Or will I be SOL?

    Thanks, Dave

I installed W7 x64 last night and it worked just fine on my E6400.

The only major thing that didn't work was BT.

As Windows 7 is mainly an improved Windows Vista, it is meant to be as compatible to Vista drivers and applications as possible. There is no big "break" like there was between XP and Vista.

Keep in mind that Windows 7 is beta now, do not rely on it. Backup your data, 7's beta is meant to be for testing purposes only for a reason.

Understood. They took it away before I could download it :( Good news about the drivers though, I was not sure.
