    hi, I have a broken laptop screen. LP133WX2(TL)(A1) and a brand new Macbook pro 13.3 LCD screen. Model: LP133WX2(TL)(**), I cant make out the last two digits. But on the web I found these similar LCDs are these backward compatible?

    many laptops do use the same screens (interchangable)

    It is the video connector you have to verify is the same on both screens.

    There are some cases when changing say from a HD screen to a FHD screen a new video cable maybe required.

    but a quick look shows a 30 pin connector. on both you should be OK

    Make sure you remove all power before swapping screens.
