    Thinking about buying used latitude without HDD and AC. And I have spare Alienware 180W or 220W AC. Will it work?

    Yes, you just need to confirm the plug on the AD adapter, and the socket on the laptop match. There's two sizes I think - a large and a small plug.

    Oh OK, thank you. Adapter surely fits physically, it's PA-9E Flextronics I guess.
