Why did Precision 7760 turn itself on?

    It has started happening to me again, but for me it is a restart rather than turning itself off. So I tell the laptop to shut down and it basically restarts. Not every time, but quite often.

    Can't help wondering whether it is related to Windows as it seems to happen more after an update and I just updated.

    Do oyu have fast startup enabled? If so, try disabling that so it does a full shutdown. If fast startup is enabled on shutdown it goes into a form of hibernate. if there is an issue maybe it is restarting.
