The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I wanted the switchable graphics of the T400, but if it's not switchable, then it's more of a toss-up to me integrated vs. dedicated. In this deal, the dedicated graphics was not configurable (either that's part of the deal or it's the web site acting odd again). The new intel integrated graphics is probably fine. (The only gaming I do is chess and the monster number crunching I do doesn't involve graphics.) So dedicated graphics would have been nice, but it's not a dealbreaker.
