Hello I am looking through the whole internet to find where to buy the blue trackstick/trackpoint caps for the Latitude 7490 and dell in general.
The measurements of the shaft is the same wether its a Latitude or Precision doesn't matter.
I am an old school thinkpad user and have over 100 caps left over but none of the Dell caps for my Dell laptops that I bought not long ago and being introduced to Dell laptops.
    Where do you buy them?

I have had two black caps and they are horrible. The caps is lower than the keyboard so my hands cannot find it in the dark even when the fact is that my keyboard is backlit. Its small, it has such short rim that my finger slips off the cap so I cannot use it for fast work.

When looking on ebay and aliexpress they don't look the same on the picture as the older with the blue rim and the dots in the middle are smaller and further spaced apart.
The one I have has 8 dots in the outer ring and 4 dots in the inner ring totalling 12 dots and almost no space apart to the next dot and the ring has a bright blue color.
The ones I can find on the internet has the same amount of dots but smaller dots and have a dull blue color to it.

Here is a website that has them lists them in two generations. From what I can tell they are the same?
SofPoint® Retail Pack [BLUE on BLACK] (2013 & Newer Models) - SKU: SP.920570.04.06
SofPoint® Retail Pack [VBLUE on BLACK] SKU: SP.92346.06

Parts-people have had them before but they are not in stock atm and very expensive for just one cap.
The picture looks just like the cap I have. Almost no space between the dots and a bright blue color.

Here is on ebay for 50 of them but with a dull color and further spaced apart dots.

These on aliexpress look are the closest I have come they almost the same that the 7490 uses and in stock.
It has a bright blue color and big dots.

To replace the one I had I bought a used keyboard for $11 that arrived today that had the cap on it and I saved the keyboard for a rainy day.

As a last resort have contacted a studio that will help me 3D print an adaptor to accept thinkpad caps next week. Only downside is that they only use PLA which might brake. Maybe I can buy them a roll of ABS and they can use the rest of the roll to whatever they like. I already have a bulk bag of thinkpad caps that last me about two years in general.

Do you replace your caps regularly?
Where do you buy them? Is there anyone that deals in bulk?

Any help is very welcomed. Getting parts for Dell laptops is proven to be a challenge.

As for your first two links, I recall the Exx50 and newer use a chiclet KB design, whereas the older laptops had a traditional keycap (though the later ones were malformed into "looking like" a chiclet).
