I have the precision M6400, XP 64 bit.
Apart from DCP, I cant find anything worth removing -- am I missing something here ?

How much improvement do you guys get after reinstall ?

Also, is there a utility to update the dell drivers ?

Well call me crazy but I kinda like the latest round of DCP updates. This with the mobility center are 2 of my prefered tools for managing various aspects of my laptop.

Actually you should reinstall from scratch with the latest dell drivers. Period

One thing that seems to be a resource hog for me was the google desktop app.

After I did a clean install of Vista on my E6400, since it came preinstalled with XP, there was no bloatware to be seen anywhere.
