    what battery life should I expect from a E6500 with p8400, quadro nvs 160m, and 7200 rpm drive with a 9 cell battery?

    What is you screen size? I am going to guess 17 inch.

    So about 1.5 hours to 2 with a 6 cell battery.

    Screen type (res, backlit type) is also a fact to consider. Rough guess - 4h hours of lite work shouldn't be a problem.
