    I am planning on buying a Vostro 1710. Just wondering if or when Montevina comes out, the Vostro line will have it..?

    Given that currently, the Vostros are just the Inspirons painted black, even if Dell decides to discontinue the Vostro line, you could just buy an Inspiron.

    That's just the old Vostro's though, not the 1310, 1510 and the 1710.

    True, I just meant that if they discontinue the Vostro line that all you would have to do is go to the Inspirons.

    From that, I assume you haven't seen the new Inspirons.
