I'm trying to make this swap/upgrade. For this model, the "native" ribbon cable for a model 1920x1080 B+RG is not available.
I've specified "B+RG" because I think that the problem of the l501x and the l502x is connected to the different backlighting of the two screen.
This could be "solved" using a new display 1920x1080 with the same WLED backlighting of the originale 1366x768 crappy display... I'm studying on it :)

More than likely you will need to change out the LVDS cable, but it's not like you will ruin the screen if it is incompatible. I tried upgrading the L501x to 1080p and the LCD was just a shade of green. Changing the LVDS cable fixed that.

took today an wuxga lcd but there is the classic problem of the cable.
Screen started, also resolution is ok, but graphic and colours are not good.

    How we can fix this?

The cable installed on the laptop Has the part number TPXMC .
The cable for the XPS15 could be perfect but seems that the motherboard side connector are different :( :(

I don't think is possible... I was looking for spec and other but che motherboard connector on the 3560 is different and there is no possibility.
The problem is the LVDS cable and I'm afraid that there is also a limitation on the motheboad side connector because it has only 30 pin, and also include those for the webcam...

on the screen side we have a 40 pin connector... too many lost pin...

So, I need to sell my band new and unused 1920x1080 display :(
