Hi. I took my laptop apart and put it back together but now the backlight isn't working, nor is it recognised in quickset. Here's a photo of the thin ribbon wire for the backlight. I can't push it any further in. But I'm wondering if the white marker line visible should be hidden under the push down clip like on my other ribbon connectors, and that the ribbon isn't going far enough in? The clip pushing down isn't as solid as the other clips, the ribbon comes out by itself quite easily if I move the keyboard At the moment, the only keyboard light that comes on is the Caps Lock key.

But to confuse things a bit, here's a picture of the last time I put my laptop back together end of 2014. Seems the backlight is on yet the ribbon is barely connected.
