Recently received a Vostro 3460 as a replacement and its a very attractive system and I'm sure it is a good system but for some reason when I plug in the AC Adapter the charging light flashes from amber to white and every couple boots I get an error that the battery is not recognized.

Some screen shots and a video below.

Have you tried with a known good Dell charger?

Just in case anyone else has this issue the new battery Dell sent seems to have fixed the issue for now.

Don't know if it matters but the original battery was made in china and the connector was not as 'shiny' black as the rest of the batter and the replacement was made in korea and was the same 'shiny' black as the rest of the battery.
