Does the Vostro 1700 use a 10/100mb network connection Ifso can it be upgraded to a Gigabit card or is it intergrated. ?

Uses 10/100, intergrated - no gigabit. Presumably you could upgrade using an Expresscard.

    BAH :(

I remember reading somewhere that Expresscard slots in real life over the stated specification with over heads slows Expresscard Network and Sata ports down.

    Thanks Anyhows.
