I've just ordered vostro 1510 with spec as in my signature...

My needs are very domestic like working on some office s/ws (not so heavy), surfing, watching movies and gaming. Esp for gaming I want to know if i cud play any latest HD games like Crysis, FC2 ,CS:S or HL2. If not can i upgrade the specs at home??

Also, have i made a decent choice of notebook (barring ofcourse the gaming need  ) ??

As far as games, you will not be able to play those games. The 8400m GS can play them on like Low at a low resolution, but definately not the X3100.

However for office work and watching multimedia you've made a fine choice for a laptop. They are well priced and should work fine :)
