Vostro 1510, Is there an alternative to quickset for Vista X64?

    Hi all

    I was wondering if anybody had any luck with finding some sort of quickset application for windows vista x64 for the vostro 1510?

    there is a rather old thread on here but there was no definitive answer given for the vostro 1510.

    however, it would appear some people have had 'controlpoint' working on there 1710's

    any advice on this issue?

    Don't know for sure but I'd guess this 64-bit QuickSet from the Latitude D630's downloads page would probably work fine on any Dell w/ 64-bit Vista:

    ...or maybe not actually... it doesn't list the Vostro as being compatible, so who knows... hmmm you could still try it though... it may just not be listed because Dell doesn't officially support x64 on that system.
