    What differences are there? They both support the same cpus, same gpus and probaly ram.

    Vostro 1510 is thinner and lighter, Vostro 1500 is BULKY.

    Other than that, the biggest difference is the Vostro 1500 can use a Geforce 8600GT card, while the Vostro 1510 tops out at the 8400m

    Do they share the sam motherboards? I want to put the parts in my 1500 in a 1510's casing.

    wouldnt be much of an upgrade. especially if u have a 8600m in ur 1500.

    If you have a Vostro 1500 now, keep using it, ESPECIALLY if you have an 8600.

    Stick with the 1500 until Nahalem comes out :)
