Is there a way to lock the numberpad keys without holding down the "fn" key? Or is there software that will let you toggle between the two?

    Thanks!

    Hey htwingnut,
I hope you still need a program. I took the time and wrote a program for you. :)
*benefits myself too, since I am owner of a vostro 1500.

I call it: the "Vostro Numberpad Emulator", (hahaha) as the name stats it emulators the number pad keys. It emulators all 1-10 digital, Plus, subtract, divide, and multiply.

    Usage:
run the program and it will convert that portion of the laptop keyboard into numberpad automatically. To change it back, or to end the program Press "ESC" on the keyboard, or you can use the trayicon through a rightclick.

I used a Metal Gear Solid Icon -otacon, because I am a big MGS Fan. :p

Well, if you want to see the source code, feel free to PM me. (I understand how unsafe it is to run a random .Exe you get off the net), I used AutoIt script to make the program. Hope this helps!
