    Hi All --

I have a Vostro 1500, and am looking to see if there are any 'internal' available USB ports. Here's kinda what I am looking to do:

I have a XBOX Wireless Receiver for Windows, which works fine to let me connect Wireless Controllers, headsets, etc to my Vostro, but the receiver is USB and when I lug the laptop around, there's some unsightly wiring. What I would like to do is tear apart the receiver and cram it into my laptop (somewhere) so it's completely internalized. All I really need is a little bit of space and somewhere inside to route the wiring.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

    Thanks

    Heat

Can you tap off the connector pins of one of the external ports? Then put a piece of tape or something over it to remind you not to plug anything into it.
