Sorry, Laurigo, but the CD is 2.3GB, so I can't upload it.

I'm sure if you contacted Dell, they could send you a copy. You might have to pay for postage, but I can't imagine they would charge you for it.

Yes I have contacted them but as I bought my Lap from a reseller and the reseller didn't wanted to give me some data Dell needs to do the transfer of ownership they didn't want to send me this. That's why I'm asking for help.

Ahh, I see. If you like, I can burn a copy and send it to you?

    PM me your address.

Actually, as long as you don't want to actually install MediaDirect, you might get away with just burning the dellkit folder (and the associated autorun file) to a disk, and booting from that.

Shall I upload it? (it's only a few megs)

    Hi Mario,

I appreciate a lot your help, but actually I would like to install the MD feature due I'm traveling preety often and it is very usefull for me in long trips...

If it si possible to RIP the disc and upload it to rapidshare or megaupload this could be awesome.

Problem is that it's far too big to upload to rapidshare or megaupload. It would also take up a big chunk of my monthly bandwidth allowance.

I could burn it to a CD and put it in the post tomorrow if you'd like?
