    Hi guys, I been using ATA mode for over an year. Today, I decided to try out AHCI. After changing the setting, my system (xp pro) dont boot up. I am using bios A05. whats the problem?

    You need the MS or Intel AHCI driver installed before rebooting. There are a few posts around the board about how to do that.
