When I move my laptop sometimes, the hinge makes a squeaking noise. Is there any solution to this that will be of a permanent nature? What would be the easiest way to get to the hinges (IE: What should I take apart?)?

Try looking at the service manual on the Dell Support site. It will show you detailed pictures with instructions on how to get to the hinges.

You could probably apply a small dab of lithium grease to the hinges when you access them. They could also just need a good cleaning-there could be some dirt causing the squeaking.

If it is under warranty, then I might consider contacting Dell.
