Hola amigos, been a long time since I rapped at ya.
I want to use mobile broadband with a Dell E6520 laptop, it has the
    DW5630 Multi-mode HSPA-EVDO Mini Card (Gobi™ 3000) installed.

Has anyone used this card to connect to pay as you go broadband wireless? I would like to avoid purchasing a proprietary broadband USB for it, since I already have the card.

If so, what company do you use? I was thinking of trying virgin broadband2go, but coverage looks lousy. Are there better options? I'm not very knowledgeable about mobile broadband and could use a little help. Thanks.

    quick question:
    1. is this card WWAN card? I have this WPAN card installed but i am not sure if that also works will sim cards

    2. Is this card you are mentioning (perhaps the WLAN) used with a typical 3G SIM / USIM card that you normally be plugged into a smart phone?OR do you have to get a separate card from lets say AT&T? Can you just take it out from your iphone and plug it into the laptop and just use the internet anywhere?

Sorry for not being able to help you out, but I had some questions about the card as well... thank you for your help in advance

Hello, I have this card and need some help. It seems that for whatever reason, I am Unabler to Connect to the AT&T Network using this card The card doesnt seem to pick up HSUPA/HSPA/UMTS/GSM or basically an NON CDMA Network. Has anyone else had this issue? The card seems to be a Gobi 3000 Card manufactured by Novatel Wireless.
