    So i just went and bought a USB hub and ive plugd it into my laptop for my cam and wireless mouuse to work but my mouse isnt working properly

    do i need to install drivers or anything for it to work better

    please help me

    what kind of USB hub? with external AC power, or just powered via the USB port? because if it's the latter, there might not be enough juice to power the mouse.

    Hi thanks for your reply my computer was saying there was a malfuntion with the USB hub i got off ebay

    its a livewire computer USB HUB its just the ones u plug in and use

    but ive just gone and bought another USB HUB from maplins for £9.99 and it works gr8

    If it is not powered you probably aren't receiving enough power to devices. And there are no drivers. You should probably invest in a better powered hub for your laptop because it will work better.

    Buy a powered hub, drawing a lot of power from your notebook’s USB port is not a very good idea in the long run.

    If you dont get a powered one meaning it plugs into the ac outlet then you will overload your usb port on the computer eventually killing it and making it never work
